Cleaning Supervisor – Evening Shift
Wrexham, LL13
£14.00 per hour
Days of work – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday (Wednesday and Saturday off)

We are recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join a busy distribution centre in Wrexham. This is a hands-on supervisory role, supporting and motivating the cleaning team while ensuring high standards are maintained across the site. Due to the nature of the environment, previous experience supervising cleaning teams within a busy commercial, industrial or distribution setting would be ideal.

Working hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, 1.00pm–9.00pm.
 
The role will involve:

• Supervising and supporting the cleaning operatives
• Allocating duties and ensuring all areas are cleaned to the required standard
• Carrying out quality checks and addressing any issues
• Ensuring health and safety and COSHH procedures are followed
• Supporting with staff training and site inductions
• Completing basic reports and maintaining accurate records
• Liaising with site management regarding staffing and service requirements
• Providing hands-on cleaning support when required

 
The successful candidate will need:

• Previous cleaning supervisory or team-leading experience
• A good understanding of health and safety and COSHH
• Confidence managing and motivating a cleaning team
• Good communication and basic computer skills
• A reliable, organised and hands-on approach
• The ability to work in a busy distribution-centre environment
