PRS is looking for experienced Handyman / Porter operatives to support our prestigious clients across commercial buildings and facilities. The successful candidate will provide essential porterage, event support and general building maintenance assistance, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out porterage duties across the building.
• Move furniture, equipment and supplies for events and day-to-day operations.
• Set up, rearrange and reset rooms for meetings and events.
• Support housekeeping activities and maintain clean, safe and presentable areas.
• Assist with rigging and installing external banners and signage.
• Support the Building Fabric team with basic maintenance, repairs and general handyman tasks.
• Assist with stock movement, deliveries, storage and inventory tasks.
• Carry out basic equipment checks and report faults or defects promptly.
• Support maintenance teams with planned and reactive maintenance activities when required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and building users.
• Use basic Microsoft Office applications for routine administrative and reporting tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Handyman, Porter, Facilities Assistant or similar role.
• Practical experience of working within commercial buildings or facilities environments.
• Good understanding of general building maintenance and basic repairs.
• Ability to safely move furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Good manual handling awareness.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of building operations.
