Are you a hardworking Kitchen Porter or General Assistant with a valid Enhanced DBS certificate looking for flexible temporary work across London?
We are currently looking for someone in the Grays area for shifts 8:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Thursday on an ongoing basis.
The Role
As a Temporary Catering Assistant, your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting kitchen teams with food preparation tasks
- Washing pots, pans, crockery, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout kitchen and service areas
- Assisting with food service and counter service when required
- Receiving and storing deliveries
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Supporting catering teams during busy service periods
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant, General Assistant, or within a hospitality environment
- A valid, in-date Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliability, punctuality, and good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards
