Catering Manager/Supervisor
Location: Cambridge, CB21
Pay Rate: £20 per hour
Contract: Ongoing assignment until the end of 2026.
Start Date: 5 November 2026
Working Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm
We are recruiting an experienced Catering Manager / Supervisor to oversee a busy catering operation at a professional site in Cambridge, delivering breakfast and lunch service for approximately 100–200 customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day catering operation and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Supervise and support the catering team, including baristas and kitchen staff.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and support efficient kitchen and service operations.
- Help ensure breakfast and lunch services run efficiently and meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering supervision or management.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to work in a busy environment.
