Shift Mechanical Engineer London
Up to £45,000 + £2,000 AP Allowance
4 Days On / 4 Days Off (08:00 – 20:00)
We are currently recruiting for a Shift Mechanical Engineer to join a leading healthcare maintenance team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified mechanical engineer looking to develop their career within a critical healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of mechanical building services equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient running of a busy healthcare facility.

- Additional £2,000 salary uplift upon successful completion of Authorised Person (AP) training
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (Days Only)
- Call-out cover required for 1 shift every 4 weeks
- Fully funded HTM03 & HTM04 training

Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (minimum requirement)
- Strong mechanical maintenance experience within commercial building services
- Experience working on HVAC, plumbing and associated mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a shift team
- Hospital or healthcare environment experience desirable but not essential
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services systems
- Maintain HVAC, heating, water and plumbing systems
- Complete fault finding, repairs and minor installation works
- Support compliance with healthcare engineering standards
- Participate in the call-out rota as required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with statutory requirements
