Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – London – £56,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading independent building services maintenance providers, operating across Kent and South East London
Due to continued growth and a robust order book, the company is expanding and looking to add a skilled Commercial Fas Engineer to its dynamic and passionate team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of commercial sites within Kent and South East London.
Package
- Salary up to £56,000
- Overtime
- Expenses card (£200-300 per month for parking)
- £150 per call out week and extra money for hours worked

Responsbilities
- Install commercial gas appliances (boilers, heaters, ovens, catering equipment)
- Fit gas pipework and meters in large-scale systems
- Commission new systems and ensure correct operation
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Service commercial boilers, burners, and plant equipment
- Test gas pressures, combustion efficiency, and safety devices
- Identify wear, faults, or inefficiencies and recommend upgrades
- Diagnose gas leaks, pressure issues, and appliance faults
- Repair or replace defective components
- Respond to emergency call-outs
- Minimise downtime for business operations
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Gas Safe registration (Commercial categories)
- NVQ Level 3 in Gas Engineering or equivalent
- ACS commercial modules (e.g. COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1)
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation
