Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (rolling)

We are recruiting for a Critical Electrical Shift Leader to join a high-performing Critical Engineering Team in Kings Cross. In this role, you will take ownership of electrical PPMs, reactive maintenance, and general building services across a critical environment.

The Role As an Electrical Shift Leader, you will:
- Oversee and coordinate HV electrical maintenance during your shift.
- Lead and support a team of engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Act as the lead contact in emergency situations, ensuring risks are managed effectively.
- Mentor, train, and upskill technicians to keep the team aligned with industry best practice.
- Produce accurate shift reports, records, and performance updates.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- HV Authorised Person (experienced with HV systems).
- City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent).
- 17th Edition IEE Wiring & Installation (18th Edition training provided if required).
- Proven experience in a critical environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
- Willingness to attend on-site and off-site training.
- Working knowledge of AC systems, UPS, generators, and LV systems with strong fault-finding ability.
