Data Centre / Critical Site Engineer 📍 Cambridgeshire

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in line with company schedules
  • Complete all maintenance activities to a high professional and technical standard
  • Produce accurate technical and activity reports in line with company procedures
  • Use company systems proactively to ensure ongoing contractual and compliance adherence
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, management, and clients
  • Provide first-line out-of-hours call-out support for the site
  • Escalate any major site issues or incidents to management promptly
  • Assist management with quotations for additional or remedial works by providing accurate technical information
  • Attend team meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required
  • Submit accurate weekly timesheets on time
  • Supervise subcontractors while on site, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
  • Represent the company professionally at all times
  • Comply fully with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality legislation and company policies
  • Handle, store, and use materials and equipment in line with health, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Actively participate in health & safety processes, including risk assessments, audits, and incident reporting
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Contract Manager or line management

Essential Requirements

  • Level 2 & Level 3 Electrical Qualifications
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • HVAP / LVAP Authorisation
