Continental Shift Pattern (12-Hour Shifts)

We are currently recruiting for an exciting position with a reputable and well-established Facilities Management provider based in Fenchurch Street. Working on a large Banking Environment, you will lead a team of engineers and be responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance services across the site.
The successful candidate will be electrically biased, with strong experience in commercial building maintenance and a proactive, hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks are completed across site assets using the PPM system.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records relating to Health & Safety, compliance, and quality standards.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure all works meet contractual and site requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve plant faults efficiently to maintain operational performance.
- Complete comprehensive maintenance documentation and job reports.
- Prepare and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements to promote safe working practices.
- Lead, manage, and support the shift engineering team.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the client.
- Allocate and monitor workloads to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard and within required timeframes.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for engineers.
- Identify training requirements and implement development plans to ensure ongoing competence and compliance.
Requirements
- City & Guilds Electrical Qualification (Level 2 & 3)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven background in commercial building maintenance
- Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, generators, power distribution, HVAC, and HV/LV systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
