PRS Recruitment Agency is currently seeking experienced Shift Engineers to work with our most prestigious client at Hatfield area
Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all M&E systems to maintain service levels and compliance.
• Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of building services equipment, including lighting, power systems, HVAC plant, emergency lighting, fire alarms and related services.
• Responding promptly to building alarms, emergencies, and operational issues during shifts.
• Ensuring maintenance and repair activities are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Recording all maintenance activity, inspections, and PPM tasks using electronic logbooks and CAFM/BMS where required.
• Supporting compliance and statutory requirements through routine checks and logging.
• Liaising with specialist subcontractors and the wider engineering team to coordinate works and ensure quality standards are met
Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or City and Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Desired)
- Experience of working with BMS systems
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be available to work day and night shifts
