Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer – City of London (FM Sector)
Location: Moorgate
Salary: Up to £48k + Overtime + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week
A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated on-site team at a prestigious Museum. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring that critical electrical systems operate seamlessly to support staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on all electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Perform fault finding, minor electrical installations, and ensure full compliance with statutory and H&S regulations.
- Support with BMS monitoring, fire alarm testing, emergency lighting inspections, and UPS maintenance.
- Liaise with staff and contractors to minimise disruption during maintenance works.
- Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and update CAFM systems.
Candidate Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or NVQ in Electrical Installations.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Experience in a similar commercial or educational FM environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
