We have an exciting opportunity for an on-site manufacturing package manager, responsible for managing specific work packages or sub-projects within a larger project, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including designers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to oversee all aspects of the package from design and procurement to manufacture, installation, and handover. Key responsibilities of an on-site manufacturing package manager include:· Planning and coordination:Developing detailed plans for each package, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.· Procurement and cost management:Overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring that they are obtained within budget and to the required quality standards.· Design management:Working with designers to ensure that the designs are appropriate for the project and that they meet all relevant regulations and standards.· Manufacturing and construction:Monitoring the manufacturing and construction processes to ensure that they are completed on time and to the required quality standards.· Stakeholder communication:Maintaining regular communication with all stakeholders, including the client, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.· Risk management:Identifying and addressing potential risks that could impact the project.·
Quality control:Ensuring that all aspects of the package are completed to the required quality standards.· On-site supervision:Supervising the work of subcontractors and suppliers on site to ensure that they are following the approved plans and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management. Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams. Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals. Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
