Role: Water Treatment Building Package Manager

Role Description

The Water Treatment Building Package Manager will be responsible for managing the construction and fit-out of the dedicated Water Treatment Building that serves a critical data centre. This includes civil, structural, architectural (CSA), and MEP scopes. The role requires strong coordination with design teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure delivery is aligned with the overall program and technical requirements.  Main Duties and Responsibilities·      Take full ownership of the Water Treatment Building package, including groundworks, superstructure, internal fit-out, and MEP integration.·      Coordinate with in-house engineering teams and external consultants to ensure alignment of design with construction methodologies and operational requirements.·      Manage subcontractors and suppliers responsible for various work packages within the building scope.·      Ensure compliance with Finnish building codes, health & safety legislation, environmental regulations & client standards.·      Monitor progress against construction schedules and escalate delays or issues as needed.·      Attend site meetings, produce package-specific reports, and contribute to project dashboards and tracking tools.·      Oversee quality control and assurance processes, including inspections and snag resolution.·      Facilitate integration with process equipment, water treatment systems, and external utilities.·      Support commissioning and handover activities in close coordination with the project commissioning manager.   

 
 Required Qualifications and Experience
 ·      Degree or higher qualification in Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Building Services, or related field.·      7+ years’ experience in construction project delivery, with at least 2 years in a package/project management role.·      Proven experience managing building packages on industrial, utility, or data centre projects.·      Strong understanding of CSA and MEP interfaces, as well as construction sequencing.·      Experience working with main contractors, subcontractors, and client-side teams in a high- compliance environment.·      Fluent English (written and spoken) – essential for site communication and technical documentation.·      Strong knowledge of health & safety standards and quality control procedures. Benefits·      Competitive salary·      Clear career development path within a growing and dynamic company.·      Exposure to a variety of complex and high-impact engineering projects.
