Maintenance Opperative
Location: Salisbury & Surrounding Areas
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Rate: Up to £16.00 per hour PAYE
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary
Van & Fuel Card Provided
We’re working with a leading maintenance provider to recruit a Multi-Skilled Operative to join their team covering various sites across Salisbury and nearby regions. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, practical, and confident handling a range of day-to-day building maintenance tasks.
Duties to inlcude but not limited to;
- Carrying out scheduled checks and routine maintenance
- Responding to reactive repair tasks across different sites
- Dealing with basic plumbing, light electrical work, and general fabric repairs
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and site-specific procedures
Requirements;
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or similar trade role
- Full UK Driving Licence (no bans in last 5 years, max 6 points)
- Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
- Experience working in environments such as schools, healthcare, or public buildings is beneficial but not essential.
Role specifics;
- Van and fuel card supplied
- Monday to Friday working hours – no on-call
