Job Title: Catering Assistant
Location: Southeast London (various school locations)
Hours: Monday to Friday (term time, hours vary by location)
Hourly Rate: Competitive – dependent on experience
Contract Type: Term Time Only
Start Date: Immediate start available
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our team providing meal services in schools across Southeast London.
About the Role: As a Catering Assistant, you will support the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times. Duties include basic food prep, serving meals, cleaning kitchen areas, and washing up.
Requirements:
- A current Enhanced DBS Certificate is essential
- Experience working in a school or catering environment is desirable
- A friendly, approachable attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Food hygiene training is beneficial (can be provided if necessary)
