Job Title: Cleaner with Supervisory Responsibilities
Location: Guildford (2 walkable sites)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 1:30pm
DBS: Basic DBS required
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaner with Supervisory Skills to join our team in Guildford. This is a part-time, morning role covering two nearby sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out high standards of cleaning across two sites (within walking distance).
- Supervise a small team: ensure all daily cleaning tasks are completed to specification.
- Provide cover for cleaners when required (e.g., sickness or holiday).
- Undertake basic caretaking duties to help maintain the smooth running of the buildings.
- Conduct end-of-day checks and ensure all duties are completed.
- Communicate effectively with the team and building users.
Requirements:
- Basic DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience in cleaning, ideally with some supervisory or team leader exposure.
- Good understanding of COSHH
- Ability to take initiative and responsibility.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
