Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Reading
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 per annum
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities maintenance client who is seeking a skilled Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and a stable Monday to Friday working pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of static electrical systems across multiple sites
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure compliance with current safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure all work meets company and legislative requirements
- Collaborate with other maintenance and facilities teams to support smooth operations
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Proven experience working in static electrical maintenance environments
- Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and committed to a Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule
