Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours/week
We are recruiting for a fabric maintenance handyperson to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a prestigious facility in the East Manchester area. The fabric maintenance handyperson will be responsible for general repairs, compliance checks, fabric maintenance and stock management. The role is a permanent position paying up to £32.7k basic based off a 37.5 hour week. Mon-Fri.
Fabric Maintenance Handyperson Description:
Provide general maintenance to the facility including:
Lamping
Fabric maintenance
Basic plumbing, patch plastering, patch painting etc.
Completing compliance checks, emergency lighting, tap temps etc.
Assisting engineers and trades on site
Basic room repairs
Also may involve moving stock around on site using site vehicle
Ad-hoc maintenance duties
Maintenance Handyperson Requirements:
To have maintenance and handyperson experience
DBS check required
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
