Are you a driven and experienced technical project leader looking to make an impact across high-profile facilities? We’re seeking a Technical Engineering Manager to join a dynamic in-house Facilities team overseeing a multi-site estate across London and Surrey.

In this key role, you’ll be managing capital projects from inception to completion—ensuring compliance, design excellence, budgetary control, and timely delivery. With direct reports and close interaction with stakeholders across the organisation, this position is perfect for a confident project professional with a strong technical background in building systems and services.
What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and deliver multiple CAPEX and departmental projects across sites from RIBA stage planning through to completion and handover.
  • Oversee design processes, project budgeting, tendering, and contractor selection.
  • Act as the key point of contact for statutory authorities ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Manage internal teams and external contractors, coordinating logistics and timelines.
  • Create, review, and update O&M manuals, estate CAD drawings, and document control systems.
  • Attend operational and project meetings and contribute to ongoing improvements in compliance and technical standards.
  • Support event-day and event operations as required (some out-of-hours availability needed).

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing large/complex engineering or building services projects.
  • Strong CAD skills (2D/3D) and up-to-date qualification essential.
  • Proven track record managing budgets, timelines, and project teams.
  • H&S qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) preferred.
  • Comfortable navigating planning and licensing processes.
  • Excellent communication, people management, and leadership skills.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-profile environments.
  • Full UK driving licence.

What’s In It for You:

  • £65,000 base salary
  • Outstanding benefits package including pension, private healthcare, generous leave, and professional development opportunities.
  • Opportunity to work across iconic London and Surrey sites on complex and rewarding projects.
  • Inclusive, forward-thinking working culture committed to equality, safety, and sustainability.

This is your chance to take ownership of exciting, high-impact engineering projects within a renowned, prestigious environment—without the red tape of typical corporate settings.
