🌟 Kitchen Assistant – School Catering Team 🌟
📍 Location: Rural school setting (Driver essential – no public transport)
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm (Term time only, 40 weeks/year)
👥 Team: Join a friendly kitchen team of 3 chefs and 3 general assistants
Are you looking for a rewarding role in a vibrant school environment? We’re seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated catering team, supporting the daily preparation and service of meals for 800 pupils.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting with food service and topping up food during busy meal times
- Clearing down, washing up, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
- Supporting the chefs and general assistants with daily kitchen duties
What We’re Looking For:
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must hold GCSE passes (no specific subjects required)
- A full driving licence is essential due to our rural location
- No prior experience needed – full training provided, including Allergen Awareness Certification
