Job Title: Chef – Farnborough
Pay: £15.50 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Contract: Ongoing
Hours: Saturday & Sunday (shift times on rota, flexibility required)
Additional hours available at another site if full-time work is desired.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Chef to join our client’s catering team in Farnborough. This role is primarily weekend-based, working shifts on both Saturday and Sunday. For candidates looking for full-time hours, extra shifts may be arranged at a nearby site.
Key Responsibilities for a Chef:
- Preparing and cooking high-volume batch meals (cooking for large amounts of people).
- Following structured menus and recipes to ensure consistency and portion control.
- Meeting all dietary requirements, food hygiene, and allergen management standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Working effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
Requirements for a Chef:
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (essential).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location).
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a high-volume catering environment.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling.
- Flexibility with shift patterns and a proactive approach to teamwork.
