Position: Mobile Maintenance Handyperson

Hours: Mon-Fri 40hours per week
Salary: £32,000 PA – £35,000 PA
We are recruiting for a maintenance handyperson to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on estates in the Stoke-on-Trent area. The handyperson will be responsible for general repairs, compliance checks such as TMV’s and tap temps, fabric maintenance and basic plumbing/mechanical. The role is a permanent position circa £32,000 – £35,000 basic. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week. On call 1 in 8 (£100 standby). Matched pension up to 8%, 26-28 days holiday plus stat. Healthcare. Van with personal use.
Maintenance Handyperson Description:
Provide general maintenance to the facility including:
Lamping
Fabric maintenance
Basic plumbing and filter cleans on AHU’s etc.
Completing compliance checks -tap temps, TMV’s etc.
Assisting engineers and trades on site
Also may involve moving stock around on site
Ad-hoc maintenance duties
Handyperson Requirements:
To have maintenance and handyperson experience
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Ability and desire to complete general mechanical / handyperson tasks
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
