Role – Cleaning Supervisor
Duration – temp – perm role
Location – North West, covering Wigan, Warrington, Bolton, Manchester, Winsford, Ellesmere & Liverpool.
Hours – 40 hrs per week (working 8 hours shifts between – 8am–6:30pm, 5 days out of 7)
Pay – £13.86ph
 
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Soft Services Supervisor to oversee our catering, domestic, and laundry services across the North West. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our teams deliver excellent customer service, maintain the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards, and comply with all company and NHS requirements.

Key Responsibilities
·      Provide outstanding customer service and respond promptly to client requests with a professional, “can do” attitude.
·      Supervise and support staff to maximise productivity and maintain high service standards.
·      Ensure compliance with Food HygieneHACCP, and NHS National Standards of Cleanliness.
·      Oversee rotas to ensure full staffing coverage and accurate timesheets.
·      Manage stock levels, supplier performance, and equipment use.
·      Conduct regular audits, performance monitoring, and staff training.
·      Ensure compliance with Health & SafetyCOSHH, and Infection Control regulations.
·      Provide out-of-hours support when required and maintain regular communication with your line manager.
 
Skills & Experience
·      Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within catering, cleaning, or soft services.
·      Strong understanding of food hygiene, HACCP, and cleaning standards.
·      Confident using IT systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
·      Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
·      Experience with auditing, performance management, and training.
 
Qualifications
·      Food Hygiene Level 3 (essential)
·      IOSH Managing Safely (preferred)
·      Previous supervisory experience within healthcare, facilities, or similar environments.
·      Flexible and able to work occasional unsociable hours when required.
