Kitchen Porter
Location: Portsmouth
Pay: £13 – £14 per hour
A Kitchen Porter is required to join a busy kitchen team. The role involves keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly throughout the day.
Main Duties:
- Washing pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen equipment
- Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and food preparation areas
- Emptying bins and maintaining hygiene standards
- Assisting with deliveries and storing supplies correctly
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is an advantage
- Reliable, hard-working, and able to work under pressure
- Good attention to detail and knowledge of food hygiene standards
- Team player with a positive attitude
Must Have:
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate
- Own transport (car, motorbike, or bicycle) – location not accessible by public transport
