Chef

Location: Aldershot
Salary: £15 – £17 per hour
Shifts: On a rota basis (must be flexible)

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join a busy kitchen preparing fresh meals to a high standard. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities for a Chef:

• Prepare, cook, and present meals in line with menu specifications
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Support with menu planning, stock control, and deliveries
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service team
• Ensure all food safety, allergen, and HACCP procedures are followed

Requirements for Chef:

• Previous experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality
• Reliable, organised, and a strong team player
• Relevant catering qualification preferred but not essential

Must Have:

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Own transport (car, motorbike, or bicycle) – location is not accessible via public transport
