Account Director – Facilities Management
Contract: Financial Corporate Client
Location: London & Southampton
Salary: £85,000 + £8,000 Car Allowance + 5% Bonus
Work Pattern: Hybrid (1–2 days WFH per week)
The OpportunityWe are seeking an exceptional Account Director to oversee the delivery of facilities management services for a prestigious financial services client. Covering sites across London and Southampton, this is a high-profile role requiring a proven leader who can combine operational excellence with strong client engagement and commercial expertise.
This position offers the opportunity to lead a large, multi-service team, deliver innovative solutions, and build long-term client relationships within a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of integrated FM services across the contract, ensuring excellence and consistency.
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships with the client, acting as the principal point of contact.
  • Provide leadership to 4 direct reports and a workforce of 120 staff across cleaning, catering, reception, and hard services.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, health & safety, and company standards.
  • Take ownership of financial performance, contract budgets, and service delivery KPIs.
  • Drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

About You

  • Experienced FM professional with a proven track record as an Account Director or senior contract lead.
  • Skilled in managing complex, multi-site contracts within a corporate environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and deliver financial performance.
  • Demonstrable experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communicator with strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledgeable in health, safety, and statutory compliance within facilities management.
