Kitchen Assistant
Location: Taunton, Somerset
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm
Duration: Starting ASAP – at least until the end of March
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join a busy site in Taunton on a temporary ongoing basis.
Main Duties for Kitchen Assistant:
- Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Supporting chefs during service
- Serving customers and providing good customer service
- Washing up and keeping kitchen and prep areas clean and tidy
- Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures
Requirements for a Kitchen Assistant:
- Previous kitchen experience (essential)
- Confident with food preparation and customer service
- Food Safety Level 2 (minimum)
- Allergen awareness training
- Health & Safety knowledge
- DBS check beneficial due to the nature of the site
