Job Title: Shift Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical)
Location: Central London
Salary: £48,000 – £50,000 + Shift Allowance & Benefits

Overview
An established facilities management provider is seeking a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile commercial site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to work within a professional, well-structured building services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on building services systems
• Maintain and fault-find on electrical or mechanical plant including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, switchgear, and associated systems
• Ensure all statutory compliance tasks are completed and recorded accurately
• Respond promptly to plant breakdowns and emergency call-outs
• Liaise with subcontractors and specialist service providers
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
• Provide clear handover reports at shift change

Requirements

• Recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
• Previous experience working within commercial building services maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience operating within a critical or high-end commercial environment preferred
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a shift team

Package

• Salary between £48,000 – £50,000
