Overview
An established facilities management provider is seeking a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile commercial site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to work within a professional, well-structured building services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on building services systems
- Maintain and fault-find on electrical or mechanical plant including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, switchgear, and associated systems
- Ensure all statutory compliance tasks are completed and recorded accurately
- Respond promptly to plant breakdowns and emergency call-outs
- Liaise with subcontractors and specialist service providers
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
- Provide clear handover reports at shift change
Requirements
- Recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within commercial building services maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience operating within a critical or high-end commercial environment preferred
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a shift team
Package
- Salary between £48,000 – £50,000
