Electrical H/V Authorised Shift Leader (London West End)
£63,000 + Benefits
An opportunity has arisen for a HV Authorised Shift Leader to join a facilities maintenance team at a high-profile international commercial banking site in London’s West End. This role operates within a critical environment, supporting the continuous operation of mechanical and electrical systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all plant and equipment are operating efficiently to meet client requirements, while identifying and escalating risks where necessary. Duties include fault diagnosis and repair within technical capability, assisting with work order prioritisation, and liaising with helpdesk teams and end users regarding maintenance requirements. The role also involves overseeing subcontractors, ensuring all works are delivered in line with company engineering standards and industry best practice.

Additional responsibilities include minor works, like-for-like asset replacement, supporting team development, and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders across the site. A practical understanding of cost awareness and sustainability in service delivery is also required.

This position follows a continental shift pattern (days and nights, 7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00) and offers a basic salary of up to £63,000, along with a company pension scheme and 20 shifts’ holiday allowance per year.
Applicants should be fully qualified electrically (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent), hold current HV switching authorisation, and have previous experience within corporate or banking facilities maintenance environments. Candidates must also be eligible to pass security clearance and demonstrate a proactive, conscientious approach.
