Mobile Refrigeration Engineer? Experience of working in the food service sector? Looking for a job that pays your travel time but keeps you out of London?
We are recruiting on behalf of a market‑leading and national award‑winning refrigeration contractor in the Foodservice and Food/Drink retail sector, offering excellent job stability through long‑term, blue‑chip contracts. Following significant new business growth, they are expanding the engineering team. This position is for an engineer to work in the Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire area.
Role Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs on equipment such as multi-decks, ice machines, coolers
- Ensure all work meets industry regulations and internal safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding completed work and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in an on‑call rota as required
Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold a current, valid F‑Gas Certificate
- The ideal applicant will possess experience working in the commercial refrigeration sector, specifically within restaurants and hospitality environments.
- Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems in the foodservice/retail sector.
- Experience of working with manufacturers such as Foster, Williams, is highly desierable for this role.
- Full UK driving licence
- Must live in a postcode beginning with MK, OX, LU, HP or NN
On offer is permanent position, paying a basic salary of £42,757, paid travel time, with £2,543 per annum call out allowance (1 in 4). 25 days annual leave plus stats, with plenty of overtime opportunties for the right candidate.
