Job Title: Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer
Location: SW London
Pay: £25.00 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a shift pattern in the City of London & Canary Wharf area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, including inspections, testing, and repairs. (Experience working with inverters would be desirable)
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Experience in working with LV Circuits, 230/415v, Lighting & Power, BMS
- HVAC Experience would be advantageous
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Working Hours:
- 07:00-19:00
- 19:00-07:00
Interview Process:
- Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
- 30-minute on-site face-to-face interview.
- Immediate start as a temp (no set time before going permanent).
Requirements:
- Level 3 Electrical installations & 18th Edition.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical engineering maintenance.
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using electrical measurement devices.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics.
- Experience with fault finding and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with reading electrical drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- City and Guilds 2391 certification.
