Temporary Commis Chef / CDP Wanted – School Kitchen Cover (Porthcawl, Wales)]
We are currently looking for a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie (CDP) to provide cover in a school kitchen based in Porthcawl, CF36 from 2nd to 13th June, with potential for the booking to be extended.
Role Details:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 15:00
- Assistant cook role supporting the Chef Manager
- Preparing meals for approx. 250 pupils (Prep to Sixth Form)
- Working as part of a friendly team: 1 Chef Manager + 2 General Assistants
- School environment in a supportive kitchen team
Requirements:
- Valid Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check less than 6 months
- Good communication skills, aswell as ability to work in a fast paced enviornment
- Overseas check if applicable
- Previous experience in a similar setting
This is a great opportunity for a capable and reliable chef to provide valuable support in a school kitchen environment. Ideal for someone who enjoys structured hours and working as part of a team. It is a great way to earn some extra cash for the summer!
