Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Woking, Surrey
Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: £43,000 + Overtime
Shift: Split shifts – 6:00am–2:30pm, 2:30pm–10:00pm, 8:00am–5:00pm (rotates every 3 weeks)
We are seeking a Multi-skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established Building Services Company at a state-of-the-art site in Woking, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading FM service provider and gain experience on a flagship site.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, with proven experience in electrical building maintenance. Some mechanical experience is also required to handle basic mechanical tasks such as PITS and FITS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
- Respond to emergency callouts
- Electrical work including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, and lighting controls
- Routine mechanical work such as toilet, drainage, tiling, and sink maintenance
- Fault finding and maintenance of AHU, FCU, UPS, generators, and LV systems
- Lamp and ballast replacements
- Emergency lighting testing
- Pump and filter changes, generator maintenance, and panel troubleshooting
Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation
- Commercial building maintenance experience
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- Some mechanical skills to perform basic tasks
